GigSuper could see the need to provide better outcomes from self employed people, however they didn't have the funding to build an entire superannuation management system.

Instead they integrated their App to an existing superannuation administration company. This allowed them to provide the outcomes for their customer without having to recreate everything behind the scenes.

What did Redgum do?

Redgum worked with GigSuper to define the experience they wanted for their customers and then mapped this experience into a range of APIs tying the GigSuper platform to the Superannuation administration system.

This significantly reduce the cost of starting up a new venture by being able to subcontract and leverage the existing operations of a third party.

For the superannuation company it gave them a whole new channel and new market without additional investment on their behalf.

Super as a self employed person is hard, paperwork is confusing, they need to send multiple physical letters to the super company and understand the array of options. GigSuper made it easy for those people, so they could complete everything in one app inside 15 minutes.

Ultimately, GigSuper enabled their customers to dramatically increase the super they retired with.
